Back when I launched Hotmomz, I saw so many women busting their asses with fitness and health but feeling completely fucked up because their bodies just weren't responding. Like, at all. No matter how hard they worked.
The brand blew up - we're talking multi-7 figures. But my own journey there? Let's just say it wasn't pretty. Started in 2008, and by 2012 I said fuck it to all the feminine/spiritual work to chase the fitness model dream. Sure, I got the body. But holy shit, was I suffering - burnout, hormones all over the place, broke as hell, and just getting kicked while I was down.
The real breakthrough came when I finally got it: healing isn't just about the physical. It's trauma work. It's hormone balance. It's actually eating MORE and working out LESS (wild, right?). Built Hotmomz on these truths in 2017, and it became this portal for women to see beyond the bullshit illusion of what fitness "should" be.
But here's where it gets interesting. 2021, I'm crushing it, hitting those million-dollar milestones, and boom after a divine appointment with plant medicine and near death experience - that feminine energy comes knocking again. Just like it did back in 2010-2012 when I chose barbells over spirituality.
This time? I said yes. And shit got real magical, real fast.
2022 rolled around and I had this gnawing feeling - like there was this ancient wisdom or witchy woo-woo secrets being withheld from me, these sacred secrets just waiting to be uncovered. So, I asked the universe to show me. And it delivered.
I let go of everything - surrendered completely into the universe's arms. I was so scared.
I'm the type who needed to control every little thing to feel safe, but that safety? Total illusion. Nothing felt good anymore. Things that used to light me up felt so heavy. I was dealing with clients who weren't aligned, chargebacks, women working with me just to say they were with the "cool girls," people using me and stabbing me in the back.
Then AMAR happened. And holy shit - I found out who I really was. Died what felt like a thousand ego deaths, and there I was... buried under all these constructs, illusions, and fake masks I thought I had to wear. But finally? I was free. I had a new identity.
